Learning

Children have a natural curiosity about the world in which they live, asking many questions and seeking answers. As capable, competent and active participants, they have the ability to show their learning in a variety of ways and in ways that are meaningful to them. They are active constructivists of meaning, expressing their views with wisdom and insight. As they delight in the wonder and awe of God’s world, they touch upon the mystery of God.

Teaching and Learning

At St Brigid’s School we are a unique, diverse community of learners who are continuously building connections with local and global communities. We are committed to providing a wide range of learning opportunities and experiences that engage and excite learners to develop a love of learning, supporting them to experience success and foster positive identities as learners. Students are at the centre of all that we do and the relationships we build, based on mutual trust and respect allow us to support them to reach their full potential as learners spiritually, academically, socially and emotionally. Alongside this, the use of effective data enables us to provide a more effective delivery of learning programs, tailored to meet the individual needs of students.
